CGA Qualifying for the 2010 International Pair Go Championships

Normally the Canadian Pair Go tournament is held at the Canadian Championships Labour day weekend. Unfortunately in 2010 the International tournament will be held earlier, so we must select our Pair by by end July 2010. To accomodate this we will hold an online Pair tournament on KGS. This will combine with our pair point system to select the 2010 International Pair representatives. There will be a Pair tournament at the Canadian Championship as well, but the points earned there can only impact 2011 and later pair selection. Any player can earn the maximum of the points they earn at the either event, not their total from the two events. As details of the event are worked out they will be posted here, for now we are looking for pairs to register. To register send details on the pair to president@go-canada.org. If your information does not appear on this web site within a couple days please follow up to ensure it hasn't been lost in a spam filter or network issues. To participate you will need to be a CGA member.

This event will be run online on KGS in June/July 2010
