GO for All is partnering with Game Summit to present at the Ottawa International Children's Festival May 26-30, 2010.

CGA Vice-president, Tyler Reynolds, will be giving demonstrations and introducing children, their parents and teachers to the wonders of playing Go throughout the week-long event under the Game Summit tent, and making sample 9x9 sets available. Teachers will be invited to employ Go in their classrooms to address the many relevant aspects of the Ontario Public School Curriculum.

GO for All is exhibiting at the Ottawa Game Summit June 12 & 13, 2010.

All attendees will be welcome to visit the GO for All booth and enjoy a game of Go, whether they are curious neophytes or seasoned players. Equipment and instruction will be available to all ages at no additional cost beyond simple admission. If there is sufficient interest, an ad hoc 'Atari Go' tournament may be staged for beginning players.

GO for All will be holding an open tournament for all levels of players again this year. The event will take place on the last day of the event as a 4-round Swiss-McMahon tournament beginning at 09:30. Admission is $10 + $4 Tournament Pre-registration, or $12 + 8-Tokens ($1ea.) On-site Registraion. Youth under 12yo get a $4-discount on Admission. Trophies will be awarded along with a selection of premium titles from Slate & Shell Publishing, including "Final Summit" by John Fairbairn.

Game Format will be Japanese Rules, with 30 min. Main-time and 20-stones/10min Overtime for each player.
Rounds will be staggered every two hours and Award presentations will take place at 18:00 on Sunday. For more information consult GO for All News Game Summit or email Tyler Reynolds
