CGA is recruiting for 2nd Annual USA-Canada Youth Friendship match
The second USA-Canada Youth Friendship match has been tentatively scheduled for December 12-13, 2009. All Dan-level youth players, ('youth' being defined as under 18 years of age as of August 1st, 2010) are encouraged to contact the CGA if they are interested in competing for Canada in this event. There are no citizenship-based participantion restrictions. The team will be 5-9 players, depending upon the number of qualified participants available. Please email youth@go-canada.org with your name, rank, and avalability for the proposed weekend.
Tournament Conditions: Online at KGS; a single round (players matched by rating); 60 minutes main-time & 5 periods of 30-seconds byo-yomi per player; Japanese rules with 6.5 points komi. Black & White will be determined by KGS nigiri on table 1, with subsequent tables alternating colour.
