Andrew Huang finishes 2-3 at World Youth
Andrew Huang, only 12 years old but competing in the senior division for under 18 players finished with two wins and three losses at the just completed World Youth Goe Championships. He defeated Thailand and Russia, losing to Israel, Ukraine, and China. He says he could have done better, and at his age he is likely to get another chance in the future.
Canadian Results at the US Go Congress
Juyong Koh was the top Canadian finisher, finishing 4th, and Yongfei Ge finished 11th. The original results posted here were not correct, we had trouble extracting correct standings from the AGA web site.
Web site fully operational again
As of August 22nd the CGA site is fully functional again. For most of the last two weeks there have been issues, first with the back end database, then the host machine died. We don't anticipate any further problems.
