Canadian Go Association Membership
To join the CGA you may join individually (most common), or your club may participate in the CGA club membership program. See below for details.

Individual Membership:
The CGA fee schedule is as follows:
- 1 Year : 15 dollars
- 2 Years : 25 dollars
- 3 Years : 35 dollars
- 4 Years : 45 dollars
- 5 Years : 50 dollars
- Youth (18 and under) : 15 dollars for two years
You can submit your information online here. Alternatively you can email your name, address, phone number, email address and rank to the CGA Membership Secretary at membership@go-canada.org.
When the membership secretary has received your information they will email you a PayPal link. If you don't specify a membership term you can expect to be sent the two year link. You can complete your payment that way, or mail a cheque. If you choose to mail a cheque make the cheque payable to Canadian Go Association and send to:

Club Membership program:
The Club membership program is a way for Canadian Go Clubs who wish to support the CGA to do so. To partipate in this program the club agrees to charge a discounted CGA membership fee as part of their membership fee (8 dollars). The club must supply the CGA with regular updates of their club membership list, and at least annually submit the collected funds to the CGA. Club members are then CGA members with exactly the same status as any other CGA member.
It will be easiest to admister this program if your club collects exact membership start dates, but we will work with interested clubs with different admistrative structures (i.e a club which only collects memberships once each fall).
If your club is interested please contact the CGA executive to discuss how this program can be set up for you. Note for club members who require their CGA membership activated quickly before the club submits it to the CGA they can send us their information directly (noting their club affiliation), and we will confirm with the club they are members in good standing.
